This and That

So... here's This:
I have been commuting to Los Angeles from Riverside, not one day, not two, but thrice weekly! I'm tired. I get hungry and my days are lost. I haven't had a car SINCE the start of the commute so it has been an extra b*tch, but rather nice since my mom's car has a radio and mine was jacked by a common derelict. At HIGH noon mind you. Anyhow, usually the cafeteria is closed by the time I head up there, but this time I started in the cafeteria and made my way down to the computer lab. Since today was the first day I've partaked of the cafeteria food, I'd like to make a record of the special memory.
I arrive, "Score! they're still open... I see bread, hopefully they'll have some delicious sandwiches..." The lunch lady walks out, as Korean as she can be she asks,

"fish-ooa?.. you like with lice?"

-uh... I'm sorry?
"habba fishooa... and u like with lice?"
-Lice?

"lice"
-Lice?( I thinkkk she might be saying RICE.. but wtf?)

"Lice, lice, you like with lice? Tree fishuuua asdhjadh no lice an uh saluda uh only tree doller, but uh fishua, lice, sjadhuenhaudhue saluda eh uh eh uh 5.90... uh 5.95.. uh no uh 5.90----5... "
-......
"....."

((thinking to self... "is she saying RICE??!?? and fish n ships?!? naaahh can't be!"))
-I'll just have thissss ::circle my hands over the special that says fish n chips combo:: the one for 5 dollars...
"Okayyy."

This lady comes out with a To GO BOX full of rice on one side, stacks three pieces of fish on it, pours tar tar sauce on THAT and THEN proceeds to the salad. By the time I even came to admittance that, yes, she is serving me rice with battered fish and tar tar sauce... she asks me what type of dressing I'd like on the salad and says I should have the Italian, because she made it herself with mustard. Mustard. Okay.

I sit down to eat, the fish was SO greasy and stale. So, now I'm glad I got rice, but the whole combination of food was awkward. The salad was great and her Italian mustard sauce was delicious, whatever it was. So I ended up throwing out the fish and eating rice with soy sauce and sriracha sauce, just to have something in my stomach.

..........

^and There's That^
